Linda Louise Martin, 73, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at home. Born in Sioux City, IA, she moved to California and graduated from Oakland High School. Linda worked as a loan officer for the Federal Bureau of Education for over 30 years. After retiring April 1, 2011, Linda moved to New York. She enjoyed quilting and handstitching for newborn babies and family, but above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Franklin and Dorothy Williams; and sister, Letitia.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Richard; sons, William (Robin) and James; daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Connor, Bella and Catania; sisters, Mary (Bob) Desch, Laurie Hillsberg, and Karen (Paul) Williams-Mowrey; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be no calling hours.
Services will take place at a later date.
