Linda L. MacDonald, 69, of Fairmount, passed away Monday April 20, 2009 at Crouse Hospital. Born on Sunday, October 22, 1939, she was the daughter of Louis LaDuc and Juliette Renaud LaDuc. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Central Tech High School. Linda was a former Girl Scout leader and uniform manager for the West Genesee Marching Band. She enjoyed Bingo, crafts, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Richard E. MacDonald, in 1984, daughter, Deborah Lilly, in 1994, and grandson, Christopher Lilly, in 1994. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Rita MacDonald, of Liverpool; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Dennis Grazul of Liverpool; grandchildren, Ryan Hagerman, Colin MacDonald and Lindsay Grazul; sister, Mary LaDuc of Boston, Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Deacon Nick Alvaro officiating. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest in Belle Isle Cemetery, Warners.
