Lawrence A. Houghmaster

Lawrence A. Houghmaster, 65 of Jordan, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Upstate Community Hospital. Born in Utica, he moved to Camillus in 1986. Larry was an auto mechanic and NYS auto inspector with Car & Brake Automotive for ten years and had over 35 years in the automotive industry. Larry’s hobbies included camping, working on cars, car shows and watching Crunch Hockey. Above all, Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Luella; children, Larry Jr. (Margaret), Chris (Leann), Shaun (Emily), Steven (Dora) and Brittany (Daniel); grandchildren, Arissa, Brian, Angela, Amber, Thomas and Zachary; and great-grandson Carmelo.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will follow at noon at the funeral home. Larry will be laid to rest in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
