Lauri M. Poppe, 57, of Syracuse, passed away Monday. She was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. A graduate of Solvay High School, Lauri was a bus driver and attendant with the Westhill Central School District for more than 15 years and most recently a home health aide. She enjoyed decorating, gardening and had a love for her rescue dogs. Above all, Lauri enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her father, Ronald Jones.
Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Gary; daughter, Arielle (Austin) Jones, Camillus; son, Kyle (Ciera Gardner) Glott, Camillus; mother, Patricia Jones, Syracuse; and siblings, Tim (Diana) Jones, Bridgeport, Pam Kowalski, North Syracuse and Jeff (Roxanne) Jones, Syracuse; grandson, Payton Money; many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, October 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
There will be no services. Burial will be private.
