Laura Jean Campbell, 75, of Camillus, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday at Iroquois Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Honeoye Falls, she moved to Syracuse in 1961. A graduate of Honeoye Falls High School, Laura earned her bachelor's degree from Le Moyne College. She was employed with H&R Block, a real estate agent with Normoyle Gallery of Homes and a former English teacher at Grant Junior High. Laura enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting, but above all, loved spending time with family.
Laura was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Lawrence Kleinhans.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Malcolm; daughters, Carleen Pensero and Cynthia Campbell, both of Baldwinsville; son, Michael (Laura) Campbell of Canton, MI; brothers, Robert Reilly of Honeoye Falls and Edward Reilly of North Carolina; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
There will be no services.
