Krste S. Popovski, 66, of Clay, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at University Hospital. Born in Prilep, Macedonia on Thursday, July 12, 1945, he was the son of Spiro and Ljubica Popovski. After spending his early years in Bitola, Macedonia, he moved to the Syracuse area. Krste was formerly employed by University Hospital and B.G. Sulzle. He was a member of St. George's Macedonian Orthodox Church. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, the former Velika “Vicky” Milososka; daughter and son-in-law, Ljubica “Lucy” and Goran Temelkovski of Clay; son and daughter-in-law, Oliver and Solveig Popovski of Sweden; sister, Ratka Kolevski; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Mihajlo and Sevda Popovski and Nikolce and Sonja Popovski, all of Macedonia; grandchildren, Filip, Monica, Adrian and Daniel; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, July 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Trisagion prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be Monday, July 25 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home and at 10 a.m. in St. George's Macedonian Orthodox Church with Rev. Branko Postolovski officiating. Krste will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
