Kenneth Clark, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Saturday at St. Camillus Residential Health Care Facility. Born on March 2, 1933, in Norwich, he settled in the Syracuse area in the late 1940s, where he built a life filled with love, dedication, and service. A proud U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, Kenneth proudly served his country during the Korean War and was a member of the 174th Attack Wing in NY. After his military service, he embarked on a 43-year career at Crouse-Hinds Electric Company and left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community he served.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kenneth had a passion for collecting vintage milk bottles and spent his free time engaging in this beloved hobby. Above all, his true joy stemmed from his family. Kenneth was a pillar of strength and support. Known for his warm smile, tender heart, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones, he especially cherished moments spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love and family values.
Kenneth was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Kathryn, in 2023; parents, Claude and Bonnie; and sister, Dorothy (Bernie) Prunner.
Surviving are his sons, Michael (Maria) of Camillus, Kevin (Tammy) of Tampa, FL, Brian (Shannon) of Huntsville, AL, and Stephen (Cindy) of Tampa, FL; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Phillip (Helen) Clarke; and sister-in-law, Mary O’Brien.
Services will be private for immediate family, relatives, and life-long friends to gather and celebrate Kenneth’s special life.
Kenneth will be laid to rest in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse.
