Kelly C. Seubert, 53, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Buffalo, she moved to the Syracuse area in 1966. Kelly earned her associate degree in business from Bryant & Stratton College and was employed with Syracuse University for 13 years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Kelly was completely devoted to her husband and children. She passionately cared for her family and friends. In her free time, if she was not at a basketball game, she was in the kitchen doing what she loved best, cooking for others. Just as much, she greatly enjoyed taking care of her second family, the coaches and players of Syracuse Men's Basketball.
Surviving are her husband of 10 years, Stephen; children, John, Michael, Christopher and James LaValle, all of Syracuse, Danielle (Luke) Suppa of New Jersey and Alexis Seubert of Rochester; siblings, Cynthia Cunningham of Syracuse, Patti-Ann (Anton) Simon of Buffalo, Timothy Cunningham of Buffalo, Karen (Allen) Myers of Syracuse and James (Melodie) Cunningham of Syracuse; and 15 beloved nieces and nephews, Henry, Jimmy, Patrick, Lindsay, Paul, Amy, Michael, Sean, Erin, Kelly, Jimmy, Angelina, Nick, Connor and Catie.
Per Kelly's wishes, there will be no calling hours.
The family would like to welcome everyone to a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 23 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 5600 West Genesee St., Camillus. Kelly will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
