Kay Korta-Stone, 96, of Camillus, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024, at St. Camillus. A lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, Kay also lived in several parts of New York State before settling in Livonia, MI, and eventually returning to her beloved Syracuse. She was a proud graduate of Central High School and a devoted member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.
Kay had a passion for golf and was a longtime member of Tuscarora Golf Club. She also enjoyed playing cards and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, who will remember her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit.
Kay was predeceased by her first husband, Gilbert Korta; second husband, William Stone Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Marie Korta.
Surviving are her daughters, Kathy (Robert) Wickert of Plymouth, MA, and Susan (Brian) Hogue of Fenton, MI; son, Gil Korta of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
Kay will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
