Kathryn (Hurley) West

Kathryn (Hurley) West, 106, of Westvale, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Buckley Landing. Born and raised in Syracuse, she was a secretary at the Herald Journal and Lipe Rollway. She was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church and member of Tuscarora Golf Club.
Kathryn was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Raymond, in 1984; sons, Raymond and William; and brothers, William and Thomas Hurley.
Surviving are her son, Thomas (Judi) of Marcellus; daughter-in-law, Delores West; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Buckley Landing for their loving care of Kay.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, May 29 from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Charles~St. Ann's Parish, 501 South Orchard Rd., Syracuse.
A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in the church. Kathryn will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to the Loretto Foundation, 1305 Nottingham Rd., Jamesville, NY 13078 or to Special Olympics New York, 504 Balltown Rd., Schenectady, NY 12304.
