Kathleen "Kathy" Vulcano
September 12, 1949 — November 3, 2019
Kathleen “Kathy” Vulcano, 70, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Loretto. A graduate of Maria Regina College, Kathy was employed as a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital for over ten years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and will be remembered for her strong faith.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Willard and Earldean Vulcano; sister, Cindy DeFazio; and brother, Will Vulcano.
Surviving are her sister, Mary (Bert) Perry of Oak Island, NC; brother, Tom (Rosemary) Vulcano of Marcellus; sister-in-law, Barb Vulcano; brother-in-law, Gary DeFazio; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 9 at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. Kathy will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241.
