Kathleen M. Ryan

Kathleen M. Ryan, 74, of Camillus, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born and raised in Albany, she lived in the Camillus-Onondaga Hill area since 1964. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and was an avid supporter of West Genesee athletics. She was loved by her many friends in Camillus. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Richard Q. Ryan, in 1992; and son, Rick, in 2009. Surviving are her sons, Joseph (Holly) Ryan of Moravia, Robert (Chris) Ryan of Fort Benning, GA and Edward (Deana) Ryan of Camillus; daughter, Michelle Ryan of Scranton, PA; sisters, Joan (Wayne) Lester of Atlanta, GA and Patty (Wayne) Bonesteele of Eagle River, WI; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, January 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 6 p.m. Kathleen will be laid to rest privately in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to West Genesee Athletic Booster Club Inc., 5203 W.
