Kathleen E. Nolan of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2017. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, David J. Nolan, in 1995. Born in South Bend, IN to John G. and Kathleen L. (Martin) Mack, she graduated from St. Mary's College, Indiana. Kathleen was a loving mother and wife who approached life with grace, humor, and warmth. A resident of Camillus since 1972, she was an active member of the community while she raised her six children. Kathleen volunteered at various local associations, including assisting local aging residents, Community General Hospital and teaching religious education at her parish, St. Joseph’s Church.
Kathleen was also predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, John (Catherine) Mack Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie (Pat) Carr; and brother-in-law, Don Blaney.
Surviving are her sister, Mary Jo (Mack) Blaney; brothers, Jim (Jane) and Tom (Mary Jo) Mack; daughters, Janet Wilson of Camillus, Patricia Tilton of Plymouth, MN, and Kathleen Nolan of Buffalo; sons, Richard (Teresa) of Kensington, CT, David (Jane) Jr. of Harwich Port, MA, and Timothy of Onondaga Hill; grandchildren, Mark Wilson, Jonathan and Alexandra Tilton, Shane Cahill, Eric, Tom, and Jim Nolan, Katie, Meagan, and David Nolan III, and Sean and Abigail Nolan; great-granddaughter, Karleigh Wilson; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 4 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 West Genesee St., Camillus. Kathleen will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
