Julia Wasleski (Wells), 102, of Syracuse, died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Glassport, Pennsylvania on December 23, 1902, she was the daughter of Julian and Mary Gembroski. She moved to Syracuse in 1920 and lived the rest of her life in Tipperary Hill. Julia was formerly employed by R.E. Dietz Co. She was a member of Ladies Slovak Union and communicant of St. Stephens Church. Surviving are her daughter, Janet C. Kot of Skaneateles; son, Donald H. (Roberta) Wells of Camillus; five grandchildren, Mark (Susan) Wells, Roberta (Scott) Herron, Donald Kot, Jennifer (Michael) Cerio and Melanie Wells and three great-grandchildren, Julia, Christopher and Sean Herron. Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church. Friends may call Tuesday, April 19, 2005 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
