Julia A. Pinkasewicz, 93, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at The Centers at St. Camillus. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Vocational High School. Julia retired from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. An avid Bingo player, she also enjoyed collecting coins and bells.
Julia was predeceased by her brothers, Michael Pinkasewicz, John Pinkasewicz and Andrew Pinkes; sister, Tillie Fanok; and niece, Mary Pinkes.
Surviving are her nephews, William Pinkes of Syracuse, Robert Pinkes of Clay, Joseph (Cindy) Pinkes of DeWitt and John Pinkes of Clover, SC; and great-nieces, Mary and Katie Pinkes, both of DeWitt.
Services will be private. Julia will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum.
