Judith Susan Beverine

Judith Susan Beverine, 82, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at Loretto Health and Rehabilitation. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy and received an associate degree from St. Joseph’s Nursing School. Judith was employed by Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing as an LPN for over 20 years, and previously with Dr. Kelly Veterinary Services. She loved animals, especially her dogs, and enjoyed volunteering at Rosamond Gifford Zoo.

Judith was predeceased by her husband, Carl Jr.; and parents, Norman and Freida B. Smith.

Surviving are her daughter, Heidi (Chris) Beverine-Curry of Syracuse; son, Kevin (Bonny) of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Justice Curry of Syracuse, MacKenzie Beverine of Philadelphia, PA, and Courtney (James) Corbett of Thornton, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Helping Hounds Dog Rescue, 7268 Caswell Ave., North Syracuse, NY 13212.
