Joyce Mahoney Curry, 78, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at home. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she graduated from Central High in 1953. Joyce retired from Hallmark Cards in 1993 after 22 years in sales. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and member of the Altar & Rosary Society. An avid reader, she enjoyed bowling, golf, playing bridge and also volunteered at Community General Hospital. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, James "Jerry"; daughter, Joanne Humphrey; son, James; and sisters, Jean Eustis and Judy (Clem) Morgillo, all of Camillus; brothers, J. Edward Mahoney of Marcellus and James Mahoney of FL; grandchildren, Jamie (Alex), Christie (fiancé, Dan), Meagan and Hannah; great-granddaughter, Olivia; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank Jennifer Castro, RN and Dian Roche for all their love and care. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, October 12 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
