Joyce A. Senska, 81, of Camillus, passed away peacefully Tuesday at home, surrounded by her family. Born in North Syracuse, Joyce was a long-time resident of central New York and graduate of North Syracuse High School. She was a court clerk for the Town of Cicero for many years. Joyce and her family enjoyed snowmobiling, boating and camping at Wellesley Island. She and her husband, Donald, eventually relocated to Ohio where they made many friends and had great fun tailgating at Ohio State football games. Joyce was naturally caring, independent, determined and dedicated to those she loved. She cared for her husband at home for many years and could always be counted on by anyone in need. Joyce also enjoyed traveling and relaxing by the water, but she most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Donald Senska; parents, Ruth and Elmer Cross; and sister, Jean Wolford.
Surviving are her daughters, Laurie (Jim) Lowe and Deborah (Don) Archer; grandchildren, Brian and Eric Lowe, Jillian Archer and Julie (Austin) Love; and three great-grandsons.
The family would like to thank all of Joyce's loving and dedicated caregivers.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 9 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
