Joy Papazides, 61, of Camillus, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at The Centers at St. Camillus. A lifetime resident of the Camillus area, she was a graduate of West Genesee High School. Joy was a member of St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church.
Joy was predeceased by her mother, Fotini Papazides.
Surviving are her father, John Papazides; brother, Ernie (Nancy) Papazides of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Nikki (Cristos) of Camillus; aunts, Noula of Liverpool and Anastasia of Geddes; nephews, Johnathan, Stefanos and George (Anastasia); and niece, Leeann (Michael) Nicko.
The family would like to thank the staff of the C Unit and COVID-19 Unit at St. Camillus for their loving care given to Joy.
Services were private for family. Joy was laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church, 325 Waring Rd., Syracuse, NY 13224.
