Joseph O. M. Case Jr., 73, of Camillus,passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 at VA Medical Center. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he lived in West Springfield, MA before moving to Camillus in 1979. He was a graduate of West Springfield High School and a US Army veteran. Joseph retired from Westvaco Corp. after ten years and previously worked at Arcadis. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and member of the Camillus Elks. Joe enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He loved spending time with his family and taking pictures, especially of his grandchildren. Joseph was predeceased by his sister, Marsha Hepsley. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, the former Karen Nelson; daughters, Kimberly (Thomas) Kshyna of Camillus and Charlene (Douglas) Hart of Cherry Hill, NJ; sister, Helen Durham of Charleston, SC; brothers, Christopher (Debra) of Streetsboro, OH and Daniel (Peggy) of Holyoke, MA; grandchildren, Ashley and Evan Kshyna and Mikayla Hart; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, December 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral homeand 11:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
