Joseph J. DeVoldre, Sr., 84, of Camillus, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005. Born in Rochester he was a graduate of Aquinas Institute. He lived in Camillus most of his life. Joe worked as a plant manager at the Onondaga County Water Authority. He was an Army veteran. Joe was a communicant of Holy Family Church. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, baseball and boating. Joe's wife, the former Ruth Bailey, died June 24, 2003. Surviving are his daughter, Mary Jo Stone of Mexico; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Debbie DeVoldre of Old Forge, Joseph and Sharon DeVoldre, Jr. of Camillus and grandchildren Johanna Stone and Mark DeVoldre. Services will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005 in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Friday, September 23, 2005 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Graveside services will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005.
