Jonathan R. Lobko

Jonathan Ryan Lobko, 22, of Camillus, died Saturday, December 17, 2005 in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He was born in Olean on Wednesday, November 9, 1983 and lived in Camillus most of his life. A graduate of West Genesee High School, Jon served in the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Virginia on the U.S.S. WASP and served in the Persian Gulf. Jon enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and traveling, particularly to Alaska. Surviving are his parents, William and Maureen Lobko of Camillus; sister, Melissa of Camillus; brother, William M. of Brooklyn; grandparents, Michael and Nadia Lobko of Liverpool; beloved girlfriend, Emily Frietas of Ft. Collins, Colorado; many aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved dog, Bailey. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Wednesday, December 21, 2005 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
