Jonas "JoJo" Castagna

Jonas Joseph “JoJo” Castagna, sixteen months, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Golisano Children’s Hospital. He was born in Syracuse on Friday, April 8, 2011. Surviving are his parents, William Daniel Castagna and Samantha Lynn Smith of Camillus; brother, Jason William Castagna, paternal grandparents, Shelley Jean House of Camillus and Carl Castagna of Baldwinsville; maternal grandparents, Colleen Dine of Forestport and Steven Smith of Syracuse; paternal great-grandparents, Johannah Castagna of Phoenix and Carol Lau of Camillus; maternal great-grandmothers, Shirley Spencer of Camillus and Shirley McDougall of Central Square; aunt, Cara Castagna of Camillus; uncle, Christopher Dine of Camillus; and great-aunt, Belinda Albino of Camillus. Relatives and friends may call Monday, August 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Tuesday, August 14 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John S. Finnegan officiating. Jonas will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery.
