John W. Faust Jr., 89, of Camillus, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016
at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing. Born and raised in Blossburg, PA, he lived in Camillus since 1957 and was a graduate of Solvay High School.
John was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired in 1987 after 33 years with Estabrook Printing, Inc. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Crossroads, Lodge 520.
John was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Mabel, in 2003; and sisters, Jean Gaylord and Elizabeth Hardy.
Surviving are his sons, Wayne (Deborah) Faust of West Monroe and Craig (Robin) Faust of Goshen, CT; sister, Helen Via of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his lifelong friend, Marion Alderman.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, September 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
