John T. Francher, 74, of Camillus, passed away Sunday January 6, 2013 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Syracuse, he was predeceased by his father, Joseph; mother, Josephine; and brother, Joseph. The gift of family was John’s greatest blessing. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, the former JoAnn McCarthy; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jo and Matt Daughton of Rochester, Lisa and Brian Lawrie of Middletown, New Jersey, Elizabeth and Steve Infanti of Syracuse; and son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Kerri Francher of Naples, Florida. His beloved grandchildren, Hannah and Sage Daughton, Jake and Olivia Lawrie, Payton, Nicholas and Emily Francher, and Emma and Luke Infanti, brought great joy to his days. John is also survived by several cousins, with whom he enjoyed sharing memories. John’s family would like to thank everyone at the Camillus Dialysis Center for their care and compassion. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, January 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 9 at St. Joseph's Church in Camillus with burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
