John Jack Liddiard, 77, of Weedsport, died Sunday, January 20, 2008 at home. Born in Syracuse on Thursday, December 11, 1930, he lived in Bridgeport for 20 years and Weedsport most of his life. Jack was employed by New Process Gear for 35 years. He was a member of the Bridgeport Methodist Church and former member of the Bridgeport Rogue's Roost Golf Course. Jack was an avid fisherman and golfer. His wife of 53 years, the former Joan Underwood, died January 4, 2004. Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law John and Beth Liddiard, Russell and Jamie Liddiard and Robert Liddiard, all of Weedsport; daughter and son-in-law, Nina and Dave Curtis of Memphis; grandchildren, Richard and Cindy Liddiard, Edward and Doris Liddiard, Kelly and John Clochessy, Brianne Liddiard, Zakary and Chelsea Curtis and several great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2008 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Rev. Chris Kinnell officiating. Friends may call Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan.
