John Michael Mallore, 56, of Cicero, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of West Genesee High School where he was an accomplished athlete. John was a Marine Corps veteran and truck driver with Gypsum Trucking and Paragon Environmental Construction. He enjoyed playing softball, working on vehicles and was an avid NY Giants and racing fan. Above all, John loved spending time with his family, grandson and dogs.
Surviving are his daughters, Courtney And Alix; grandson, Brady; parents, Carmen Jr. and Mary; sister, Deborah (Michael) Tighe of Baldwinsville; brothers, Carmen (Anne) Mallore III of Camillus and James (Kirsten) Mallore of Georgia; first wife, Lori Rogers; second wife, Theresa Vantassell; and nephews, Ryan, Zachary, Maximus, Carmen and Sammy.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, December 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Saturday, December, 14 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. John will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
