John J. Wall, 92, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the VA Medical Center. Born and raised in The Bronx, he lived in Camillus since 1959. John earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from RPI. He was an Army veteran of WWII and worked for the U.S. Defense Department.
John was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Katherine, in 2006.
Surviving are his daughter, Karen (Richard) Horan of Manchester, NH; son, George "Butch" (Amy) of Camillus; grandchildren, Kelly (Rudy) Planter, Patrick Horan, Ashley (Andrew) Budelman, Kerry Horan, Jared (Kerubo) Wall, Philip Wall and Katherine (Sean) Dooher; and great-grandchildren, Maximilian Dooher, Isaiah Dooher and Emma Budelman.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the VA Community Living Center for their loving care of John.
Calling hours and services will be private. John will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
