John J. Simone Sr., 79, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at Loretto Highland House.
Surviving are his children, John (Sharon) Jr., Dana (Ted) Drayer and Diana (Richard) Stafford; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Tony, Johnny and Robert.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, November 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will follow at noon at the funeral home. John will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
