John J. Crisafulli Sr., 76, of Camillus, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born and raised in Fulton, he moved to the Syracuse area in 1966. He was a graduate of Fulton High School and Leicester Junior College. He served in the National Guard.
John was owner of his family's business, Broadway Cleaners in Fulton, retiring in 2015. He also was a buyer for Dey Brothers and owned and operated Peddler's Wagon. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
John enjoyed gardening, woodworking and was a great handyman but above all, loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, the former Joyce Wickham; daughter, Karen (Steve) Kasarda of Cicero; son, John (Melissa) Crisafulli of Rochester; sisters, Carol (Terry) Scullin of New Jersey and Marie Morrell of Fulton; sister-in-law, Christine Pierce of Syracuse; grandchildren, Ryan, John, Maria, Matthew and Sophia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, February 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Thursday, February 2 at 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home and 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. John will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery in Fulton.
