Joan Maw

Joan Maw, 88, of Liverpool, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at Crouse Hospital. Born on December 11, 1931 in England, she moved to Canada in 1966, Ohio in 1967 and Liverpool in 1969. Joan was lovely in every sense of the word and had a wicked sense of humor. She had the toughest but most rewarding job of raising her three sons. Joan had a wonderful life with her husband and love of her life, Gordon.

Joan was predeceased by her son, Stephen, in 1976; and brother, Brian Magson.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Gordon; sons, Graham (Catherine) and Michael (Diane); grandchildren, Nicole, April, Stephen, Michelle and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Damyon, Jonathan, Canon and Gordon; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws living in England.

Relatives and friends may call Monday, February 17 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
