Joan M. (Curulla) Myles, 90, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday at home. Born in Oneida, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Williams) Curulla.
Following graduation from Oneida High School and college, she was employed at Dey Brothers as a buyer.
Throughout her life, Joan enjoyed sunsets on the shore of Lake Ontario, walking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, the theater, and ballroom dancing. Above all, she loved spending time with family.
Joan was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Francis Curulla.
Surviving are her sons, Richard (JoAnn), Peter (Janet), Thomas and friend Janice Hass, and Paul (Patty); brother, John (Karen) Curulla; grandchildren, Meghan (Brian) Platt, Caitlin, Melissa, Jennifer (Eric Albretch) Lynch, and Riley Myles; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Griffin Platt, and Devin Lynch; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 8 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m.
