Jeannette Ciciarelli Orzel

Jeannette Ciciarelli Orzel, 90, of Camillus, went home to the Lord Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Monday, July 4, 1921, she was the daughter of John Ciciarelli and Theresa Frustaglia Ciciarelli. She was a graduate of Vocational High School and lived on the west end until moving to Camillus in 1952. Jeannette retired from GTE Sylvania and previously with Easy Washer. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking. Jeannette’s husband of 68 years, Chester, passed away May 25, 2011. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Tim Hanno of Mattydale, and Melanie and Jon Davis of Syracuse; son, Gary of Camillus; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis of DeWitt; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Relatives and friends may call Monday, November 21 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home and 11:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Jeannette will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
