Jeanne A. (McNamara) Gensler
January 30, 1944 — January 8, 2020
Jeanne A. (McNamara) Gensler, loving wife and mother, 75, of Clay, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Crown Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she graduated from Convent School and earned her master's degree from SUNY Oswego. Jeanne was a teacher at Bishop Ludden High School and former communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero.
Jeanne was predeceased by her sister, Kathy; brother, John; and granddaughter, Emily.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Robert; daughter, Bonnie (Chuck) Kreis; and grandchildren, Gabriella and Robbie.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will follow at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 West Genesee St., Camillus. Jeanne will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Association of CNY, 4915½ W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY 13088.
