Jean “Audrey” Nock, 88 of Camillus, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at home. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Camillus since 1955 and most recently at Malta House in North Syracuse where she delighted in the programs and company of the residents and staff. She retired from Gallinger Real Estate in 1997. A longtime communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Audrey enjoyed singing in the funeral choir and sharing her faith in the RCIA program. She also participated in the Adoration Chapel at both St. Joseph's Church and Holy Family Church. Her other favorite pastimes were playing the piano, writing journals and visiting garage sales. Her most important hobby was spending time with her grandchildren.
Audrey was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William R. "Bill" Nock, in 2009; and sisters, Barbara Fitzgerald, Mary O'Donnell and Elinor O’Hare.
Surviving are her daughters, Catherine Marie (Scott) Lickstein, Virginia Nock (David) LoRusso and Margaret Mary (Joseph) Lanni; grandchildren, David (Kristine), Steven (Connie), Michael (Julie), Nicholas (Enrica), Natalie, Marc, Alex and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Max, Sam, Clara and Daniela; sister, Patricia (Thomas) Halpin; brother-in-law, Donal Fitzgerald; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, October 25 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church.
A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the church. Audrey will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
