Jean K. (Neagle) Schulte, 67, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, April, 5, 2021 at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Alaska from 1984 to 2002, Oregon from 2002 to 2009 and then moved back to Syracuse in 2009. Jean attended St. Patrick High School and Corcoran High School, from which she graduated. She owned "Neagle's Pizza" in Syracuse on the corner of South and Glenwood Avenue and worked as a dental receptionist in both Syracuse and Anchorage, AK. Jean was very proud of her Irish and Southern roots. She enjoyed music, history, foreign sports cars, camping, photography and birdwatching. Above all, Jean loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a free spirit and a loving person but was never afraid to speak her mind.
Surviving are her son, Joseph (Briana) Schulte; grandchildren, Miles and Jude; brothers, William (Kristin) Neagle, Patrick Hayes and Jim Neagle; sister, Nora Hayes; and several nieces and nephews.
A service for friends and family will be at the Stone Mill Pavilion in Marcellus Park, 2443 Platt Rd., Marcellus on April 24 at 4 p.m.
