Janine Canfield, 62, of East Syracuse, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at University Hospital. Janine attended the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She enjoyed the beach and fishing. Surviving are her husband, David; children, Natasha Davis, Torrie Dixon Nicholas, Jeremy, Matt and Seth Maloy, Marcus and Daniel Canfield; brothers, James Dykens and George Mason; and many grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, October 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 24 at 9:30 a.m. in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Janine will be laid to rest in Loomis Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
