Janice M. Corrigan, 82, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she graduated from North High School. Janice retired from the NY Telephone Co. after 15 years. She enjoyed Bingo, going to the casino, and vacations in Florida. She loved relaxing in the pool and spending time with her family. Janice was predeceased by her daughter, Kellie Jean Corrigan, in 2011. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, John "Jack" Corrigan; sister, Bonnie Carucci of Jamesville; brother, Billy (Vicky) Appel of Syracuse; brother-in-law, Robert Corrigan and sister-in-law, Dorothy (George) Lewis, both of Minoa; beloved dogs, Jack and Riley; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, September 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Saturday, September 13 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Janice will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
