Janice J. Todeschini, 61, of Solvay, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at home. A lifetime resident of the village of Solvay, she was born on Wednesday, September 14, 1949. She was a graduate of Solvay High School. Janice was employed with GTE Sylvania for 12 years and previously with Syracuse University. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church and also enjoyed traveling. Janice was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank John Jerome and Arlene Evelyn Forger Jerome; and an infant daughter. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, David James Todeschini; daughter, Jana Todeschini of Solvay; son and daughter-in-law, David and Maria Todeschini of Camillus; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judith and Wally Gaworecki and Jilene and Ronald Rotolo, all of Lakeland; and Janil Harris of Syracuse; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Kathy Jerome of Solvay; several nieces and nephews; several great-nephews; and one great-niece. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, June 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Monday, June 6 at 8:15 a.m. at the funeral home and 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Janice will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
