Janet M. (Bosché) Snyder, 76, of Fairmount, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at Crouse Hospital. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 22, 1935, she was the daughter of Kenneth Bosché and Marion Ward Bosché. She lived in Pittsburg before moving to the Syracuse area at an early age. Janet graduated from Most Holy Rosary School and CCBI. She retired in 1994 from Sam Rao Florist after more than 20 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Janet enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and adding to her special collection of ladybug knick-knacks. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, George Arthur Snyder; daughters and son-in-law, Joan and Mark Ward of Brewerton and Trish Pavlides of Camillus; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janine and Don Scanlon and Joan and Robert Lynch, all of Camillus; her grandchildren, Amy and Denise Ward and Nick Pavlides; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, March 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Nick Alvaro officiating. Janet will be laid to rest Friday, March 16 at 11 a.m. in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
