Jane Heer St.Denis, 91, of Naples, New York, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. Born in Syracuse on Thursday, March 11, 1920, she was the daughter of Jacob Heer and Theresa Storffler Heer. She lived in Syracuse until moving to Lake Mary, Florida in 1976 and moved to Naples in 2009. Jane was employed with the Seminole County Library for 10 years and previously with Smith Corona and the Hotel Syracuse. She was a member of the Syracuse Turners Club. Jane was predeceased by her husband, Albert R. St.Denis in 1992; son, Albert E. St.Denis; daughter, Coral St.Denis Nesbitt; grandson, John St.Denis; brother, Henry Heer; and son-in-law, Chuck Zanghi. Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Kevin McEntegart of Hueytown, Alabama and Carol Zanghi of Naples, New York; sister, Freda Robinson of Texas; brother, Raymond Heer of Marcellus; daughter-in-law, Peg St.Denis of Syracuse; grandchildren, Deborah Warren of Alabama; Larry (Diane) St.Denis of San Jose, California, David (Pat) Nesbitt of Andover, Massachusetts, Susan (Scott) Lawrence of Bainbridge Island, Washington and Andrew (Patty) St.Denis of Baldwinsville; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Friday, November 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 12 at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Fairmount. Jane will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
