Jane H. Pietrowicz
November 22, 1927 — January 14, 2020
Jane H. Pietrowicz, 92, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020. Jane was employed with the family business, Imperial Beverages for over 20 years, Onondaga County Social Services for 25 years and was a Felician Sisters Associate.
Jane was predeceased by her husband, Edward Pietrowicz; and sisters, Cecelia Kowalski and Lottie Cullen.
Surviving are her daughters, Sister Kristen Pietrowicz, CSSF and Christine (Bruce) Bartlett; sister, Rita Sebesta; nieces, Melanie Sebesta, Lia (Rick) Czerniak and Heather Sebesta; nephew, Dr. Michael (Cheryl) Sebesta; great-nephews, Joel and Noah Sebesta; and great-nieces, Marlo Sebesta and Lily Czerniak.
The family would like to thank Jane’s neighbors, especially Tom and Theresa Grudzinski for their loving care and compassion.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, January 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 22 at 9:30 a.m. in Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 927 Park Ave., Syracuse. Jane will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Felician Sisters, 600 Doat St., Buffalo, NY 14211.
