Jane A. Nesbit

Jane A. Nesbit, 83, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at
Upstate University Hospital Community Campus. She was born in Lyons, New York.
A registered nurse, Jane worked at the Lyons Hospital and as a private duty nurse before retiring, at the age of 65, from the Onondaga County Health Department.
Jane was predeceased by her husband, Richard, in 1968.
Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia (Kevin) O'Brien of Mattydale; son, Edward (Darby) Nesbit of Skaneateles; grandchildren, Matthew Nash, Sean and Patrick O'Brien; and four great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, February 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 10 at 1 p.m. in St. Michael's Lutheran Church. Spring burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lyons.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 5108 W. Genesee St., Camillus, NY 13031.
