James M. Fooks

James M. Fooks, 47, of Nedrow, passed away Wednesday at home. Born in Media, PA, he moved to Camillus in 1974 and was a graduate of West Genesee High School and SUNY Morrisville. Jim was employed with Hotel Syracuse and Genesee Grande Hotels for many years. A member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and the Onondaga Historical Association, he also enjoyed woodworking and antiquing. James was predeceased by his father, James, in 1994.    Surviving are his mother, Joyce; and sister, Linda (Erich) Heller, both of Camillus; aunt, Joan B. Fooks of Nedrow; uncle, John B. Fooks of Arizona; and several cousins. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be Monday, February 9 at 11 a.m. in Immanuel United Methodist Church,303 Kasson Rd., Camillus. Burial will be private in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CNY SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211.
