James Joseph Fox

James J. Fox, 35, of Camillus, was called home by our Lord Friday, April 11, 2014 from University Hospital at Community General. Jim, beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend, was born in Syracuse on March 19, 1979 to Joseph and Kathleen Fox. Jim led a simple and loving life. He had deep religious convictions, praying 20 decades of the rosary nightly. His favorite pastimes were chatting with friends on the phone, listening to his favorite music and playing guitar. The family would like to thank the ICU team of University Hospital at Community General for all their care and support. Surviving are his parents of Camillus; brother, Stephen of Syracuse; sisters, Michelle Fox and Carolyn Fox, both of Camillus; several uncles, aunts and cousins; and nieces, Maya and Malana. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 14 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Jim will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Holy Family Food Pantry, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse, NY 13219.
