Jack E. Denny, 91, of Camillus, went home to his beloved wife, Imogene on Wednesday, surrounded by his loving family. Born in St. Charles, VA, he moved to Camillus in 1966. A veteran of WWII, Jack raised his family in Baltimore, MD before transferring to become a purchaser with Allied Chemical until the closing of Solvay Process. He was the former president of the Top Hats Dance Club. Jack was predeceased by his wife, Imogene, in 2006. Surviving are his daughters, Diane (Lee) Davis of Baldwinsville and Cheryl (Edward) Heffernan of Camillus; son, Jack (Ruth) Jr. of Centerville, MD; sister, Irma Kay Fike of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Norman and Timothy Davis, Rebecca Davis-Pevarnik, Matthew Denny, Margaret Brewer and Brendan Heffernan; 11 great-grandchildren; and godson, Donald Aaron Rash. Relatives and friends may call Friday, June 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Saturday, June 18 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Jack will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Silver Fox Senior Social Club, 22 E.
