Ivan I. Okhman, 66, of Camillus, passed away Thursday. Born and raised in Kazakhstan, he was a mining engineer before coming to the U.S. in 1999. He was an auto body collision repair specialist for A & R Auto Sales and Spicer’s Auto Center. Ivan was a member and deacon at Word of Life Russian Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was loved by everyone.
Ivan was predeceased by his parents, Ivan and Anna Okhman; and brother, Valeriy Okhman.
Surviving are Nadezhda, his wife of 38 years; sons, Ivan and Valeriy (Yekaterina) Okhman; granddaughters, Maya and Ella; brothers, Viktor (Lubov), Vladimir (Lubov), Vasiliy (Galina), Valentin (Marina), and Veniamin (Lubov); sisters, Tatyana (Anatoliy) Shanturov; and Anna (Sergey) Fedorenko; and many nieces and nephews.
First service will be Thursday, April 28 at 6 p.m. at Slavic Full Gospel Church, 3528 E. Genesee St., Syracuse. Second service will be Friday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at Word of Life Russian Baptist Church, 804 S. Onondaga Rd., Syracuse.
Ivan will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery in Warners.
