Irene Milano

Irene V. Milano, 89, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Camillus since 1953. A communicant of St. Joseph's Church, she was a member of its Altar Rosary Society and the Golden Agers. She dedicated her life to the care of her daughter, Grace Ann. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Victor, in 2006. Surviving are her daughter, Grace Ann Milano of Camillus; son, Phillip (Sharon) Milano of Memphis; and granddaughters, Allison and Carly Milano. Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 18 at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church. Irene will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
