Irene McPhillips

Irene McPhillips, 86, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday,  March 12, 2015 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General.  Born and raised in the Bronx, she lived in Syracuse since 1955. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Patrick, in 2010; three brothers and four sisters. Surviving are her son, Patrick Jr. (Peggy) of Camillus; daughter, Julie (Brian) Messenger of Trumansburg; sister, Barbara Staino of Convent Station, NJ; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at a later date in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
