Henry “Hank” “Harry” Walsh, 83, of Camillus, left us on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 to join the love of his life. Born in Peoria, IL, he was the son of Raphael and Beatrice Walsh. A graduate of Syracuse University School of Management, Henry taught in the SUNY system and retired from Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. He proudly served four years in the US Navy with fleet duty aboard the aircraft carrier USS F.D. Roosevelt (CVA-42). Hank was actively involved in youth sports programs, coaching Camillus Optimist Basketball, WOYSA and WGAC Baseball. He was a fan of all NCAA sports, especially the Syracuse Orange basketball and lacrosse teams.
Henry was predeceased by his loving wife of over 45 years, Anna Margaret (Prior) Walsh, in 2010.
Surviving are his daughters, Theresa (Robert) Bollinger, Tonya Walsh and Michelle Walsh; son, Leigh (Maria); stepdaughters, Karen (James) Curtin, Susan Romans and Barbara (Richard) Height; stepson, Hal (Cynthia) Romans; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
Per Henry’s request, there will be no calling hours. Services will be private.
